 During the week of March 14-20, First Baptist Church of Kumasi hosted a special conference called “Salvation Revelation.” The conference consisted of four nights of preaching on the subject of salvation. Each night of the conference Brother Speer clearly disproved any possibility of being saved by works, and clearly proved that salvation is only by faith.
In preparation for the conference, over 20,000 fliers were handed out. During the conference we saw over 400 visitors attend our services with 297 public professions and 204 baptisms. What an exciting week this has been with 297 people turning from their belief in works to realize that only by grace through faith will they be saved. We thank God for His blessings during the week and for our pastor’s vision to see lost souls saved.

 Along with the addition of Brother Justin White to the Ghana team comes the addition of the Power Club to the First Baptist Church of Kumasi. The Power Club is a club for children age 4-13 that includes Bible lessons, games, and singing. While attending Hyles-Anderson College , Brother Justin worked with the Power Club of First Baptist Church of Hammond.
